According to Wu-jing.org, principal photography has been completed in Donnie Yen helmed "Black Rose 3" (working title) and is sopposedly set for a Lunar New Year release, alongside a graphic novel by comic book artis Li Chi tak which is expected Jan 21. "Black Rose 3" stars pop duo Twins (Gillian Chung and Charlene Choi) as Robin Hood-esque heroines, alongside Ekin Cheng and Teresa Mo.

News Bit: Singer Jay Chou has beed recruited for a part in Tsui Hark's "Initial D", an adaption of the popular manga, in which he will play Takumi Fujiware opposite Edison Chen's Ryosuke Takahashi.

Welcome to The Nation: "In fact next year, Chou will make his big-screen debut in “Initial D”, adapted from the Japanese manga of the same name, which is highly popular in Hong Kong and Japan.
He will play the male lead, Takumi Fujiwara. Edison Chen takes the part of his opponent, Ryosuke Takahashi. The film will be directed by Tsui Hark. And Chou will be getting a cool HK$4 million (Bt20.4 million) as a fee."

Friends mourn Anita Mui's passing Many sources have speculated whether director Zhang Yimou, who was to direct Mui in his upcoming film "Shi Mian Mai Fu", will recast the part or simply cut it out of the movie. Mui was cast as the older sister to Zhang Ziyi's character in 'Shi Mian' which also stars Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro. The cast and crew have commenced filming in the Ukraine and are expected to resume filming in Youngchuan, China this month.
